“Happy New Year 2025, Blessed New Year, Meaningful New Year”
My calls, text, everything were over flooded with these messages from my alumni, family, friends, colleagues, well-wishers, researchers, entrepreneurs and others from all parts of India and foreign nations. It was so delightful and blessed to receive such messages from neighbor residents too.
As part of New Year, with the help of my surroundings, I threw a party for the celebration of Christmas and New Year 2025. People around extended their support by participating actively a few days ago. We had a tea party and 35 people attended. It was thoroughly joyful, simple and sincere. During the party I announced that we will arrange as a Christmas gift Medical consultation once in a week for all at reasonable cost.
While welcoming the attendees, I explained that Counselling Services are picking up at the new place both in person and online with a potential to grow more. Of the few dozen who have availed of our service from Vellore and other part of the country and the world, their Issues ranged from Potential Building, Ventilation of Distress, Anxiety, Depression, Career Choices, Pre-marriage preparation, Marital Conflict Resolution, Suicide Prevention, celebration of healing growth and change through taking control of ones thoughts, feeling and actions, referral counselling to medical, psychiatric and legal specialists, psycho-oncological intervention, trauma counselling, empowerment for social change, psychoeducation of special needs children and their parents and in promoting mental and behavioural health. Besides the above, executive stress, values clarifications, executive Coaching and transitional management were also addressed
Dr. Henry Kirubakaran Senior Doctor(Retd) from Christian Medical College, Vellore participated in the event and confirmed the arrangements made for the medical consultation and his availability for it. He is one of the kind hearted and service minded experience doctor and my long term personal friend.
During the closure of party, Mrs. Jyothi Priya along with her husband Mr. Nixon and their children sang beautiful songs. People gathered enjoyed the party and were delightful. The New Year party was successful and to conclude a special gifts of appreciation were arranged for our staff and cleaning personnel from the Village Panchayat.
Sharing this happy event, I wish to spread the same positive vibes to all and their families throughout the Year.
